Courses Offered

Associate level:

August 3 to 6 and August 9 to 12
64 hours of coursework delivered via Zoom.

October 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28
64 hours of coursework delivered via Zoom.

November 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 30, December 2, 8
64 hours of coursework delivered via Zoom.

Weekends: October 2, 23, November 6, 20, December 11, & 18, 2021 and January 15 & 29, 2022
64 hours of coursework delivered via Zoom.

Please note that the classes run from 8:30am to 4:30pm Eastern Time (EDT).
All course content is delivered via Zoom.


Costs:
Associate Level – $1,920
Practicum Observations – $240 per observation

A deposit of $500 (Associate) or $250 (Classroom Educator) must be submitted with your application, and received by The Blosser Center in order to reserve your place in class. You can pay by debit/credit card, check or wire transfers, including international wire transfers.  $100 of the deposit is nonrefundable.

The balance of the training fee is due one month before the start of the course.

If a registrant needs to cancel their registration: Withdrawal requests received with more than two weeks (more than 14 days) prior to a course start date will be refunded less a 20% withdrawal fee. Withdrawal requests received within two weeks (less than 14 days) prior to a course start date will be refunded less a 30% withdrawal fee. No refunds will be issued once the training has commenced.


College credit may be available through the University of the Pacific. Please inquire for more information.

Considering Training?

As part of The Blosser Center’s mission, we provide training for individuals interested and dedicated to becoming certified in the Orton-Gillingham tutoring approach. The Blosser Center is certified by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators as a training center, and all courses are taught by an Academy Accredited Training Fellow.
