A summer academic intervention

9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Weekdays in July (M-F, July 1 through July 30, no classes on July 4 or 5)

Our program focuses on building a solid foundation in basic phonics i.e. mastery of letter/sound correspondences and syllables with short vowels, progressing to more advanced reading and spelling skills. Students with dyslexia need specialized instruction for several years to reach grade level in reading and spelling. The intensity of daily tutoring often gives students a measurable boost or solidifies skills. We will use both diagnostic and standardized tests to monitor progress.
